Am I Gay?
Yes.

Yes!

Ban this guy.

Can I get some suggestions for a good headset w/mic or a headset and a stand-alone mic, such as a snowball? My headset's mic simply won't work, no matter what I do, but it should be working perfectly. Time to get ANOTHER pair or something...

Yeah the G35 is great but it's pretty expensive. I love mine, but I dread the day when it finally wears out.

Also, we should probably stop being lazy asses and go ahead and ban knifeout. There are countless polls showing that it is the will of the people.

Don't waste your money or time on any overpriced sub par mic/headphone combo.

Just wait until the faux leather covering of the ear pads starts coming off.. =( You'll have little black dandruff like flakes of the shit all over your ears and neck.

I've never liked combos. I use a modmic and it's served me fairly well and their customer service is amazing. A snowball is really overkill. It needs a different stand otherwise your typing is going to be completely obnoxious to people you are talking to.

If you don't want a modmic and want to save some money I've heard good things about the Zalman mics. They are cheap and the sound quality is just fine for games. http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405699791&sr=8-1&keywords=microphone+zalman

Almost the exact same headset that I have atm. PX22's. I've mainly stuck with Turtle Beaches, but sometimes they die out super quick.

Recently retired my Steelseries Siberia V2's, thought they were bad ass till Hick turned me on to a G930's sale. These blow away the Steelseries. Love 'em. The sound quality is great and they put off some decent bass. As far as mic quality, idk, don't talk to myself too often, but no one has said anything bad about it.

(they were like 1/2 off when I got them)
